Lencho wasn’t thankful or grateful about the money he received from god instead of showing some gratitude he asked for the rest of the pesos that he didn’t receive. The impression he left was that he was greedy, ungrateful and quite judgemental as he regarded the post office employees as a bunch of crooks

Lencho was a hard working man who used to work like an ox on his only corn field.He had a firm faith in God and believed that God is watching him and would help him in any disastrous situation of his life.He had a firm faith in God but lacked faith in humantiy as he said the employees as bunch of crooks after receiving 70 pesos out of 100.
