Malgudi is a place like home. Home to characters like Swami and his friends. Home to cricket games, traditional games and also a slight tinge of mystery lurking behind this place. Malgudi is a fictional town created by R.K Narayan in his story. A river called Sarayu, it's banks makes a reader absorb in the book.
There is no town without streets or neighbourhoods, the neighbourhoods of Malgudi are narrow, very close to each other. This gives the impression that all the people in the city know each other well and are good friends.
Malgudi also has an effective transport system of trains, which helps people connect with one another. On the other side of River Sarayu is the Mempi forest which is a shelter to many tigers and deers.
I hope this helps!
