• Stop caste based politics.

• Do not compromise on environment in the name of development.

• Invest in renewable energy, reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

• Clean up all rivers. Water is fast becoming a scarce commodity.

• Innovative agricultural practices. Constant R&D is critical.

• Stop anyone with a criminal past from contesting elections. No one with criminal cases under review should be allowed to contest a seat.

• Speed up judicial processes, more courts and judges are required to depose civil cases.

• Education/syllabus to be set by a panel of scholars outside the sphere of influence of politicians.
• Police force and police procedures to be modernised.
• Infrastructure should match the pace of development, no new developments that cannot be supported with drain, water and sewage lines.
• Sewage to be treated before disposal to water bodies.
• Capital punishment to be abolished.
• Toilet access for everyone in the country.
• Reparations to adivasis and people displaced by development.
• Proper town and city planning to avoid traffic snarls and delays/accidents.
• Shorter work weeks, compulsory 30 day vacation a year and paid maternity leaves should be standardised for mental well being.
• Cleanliness should be ingrained in children and adults should set an example.
