during independent movements they use to wear khadi cloth which was made in india .
which shows that india boycott british goods and follow sawadeshi.

During independence, Indians wore the dress code followed by their leaders. For instance, Gandhi's followers wore white clothes and Gandhi cap like him,Subhash Chandra Bose's followers wore the uniform like him,and so on.The common thing between all these is that the clothes were khadi, made in India.
