Cave paintings are paintings on cave ceilings & walls. Generally,  these paintings were made during pre-historic times

Explanation:

  • Mainly made of red,  white, or sometimes  in yellow, green cave paintings they depict the lives & times of the people who lived in the caves, such as birth scenes, community rites, rituals, religious rites,  funerals, and native wild creatures.
  • Cave art also indicated group structures & creativity. They display an interest in expressing feelings, sharing knowledge, & transmitting cultural information to future generations
  • The need for human communication is indicated by cave paintings. This communication takes the form of a future in which an image / picture is needed to direct or convey something so important. The drawings are placed in deeper and more complicated areas of caves, meaning that acoustics are a crucial element in the development of drawings. The drawings may literally be the sounds created here by early humans.
  • Early human survival was often seen as an endeavour to search for success, to exert 'control' on animals that are dangerous for early human beings and crucial to their existence, or to increase herd productivity in the wild.
  • The hunting pictures of hunting are the evidence for their planning of the "hunting ground" & the "prey". Pictures were drawn on the ceilings of the caves as well. This was evidence for the "dexterity" of early humans. "Cave paintings" are a "source of information" about the early human life'.
  • Maybe the man in the cave would want to decorate the cave and chose animals since they were essential to their life. Maybe if the artist can capture the animal's image, he can hunt the animal. The prehistoric man may have used animal painting on the caves' walls to mark their hunting expeditions.
