For the first round of the exam, which involves basic stuff like maths, english and reasoning, you should be able to well if you are good enough in school. This round also consists of questions which test your drawing skills, and your creativity, so a liitle bit of practice is required for improving your skills, and also take a look at the type of questions which are asked in the exam. For example, last year, i had also taken the exam, and one of the questions was ,that we had to design a poster on a given topic.
The second round, is the Situation Test round, which is the deciding factor of your rank, you can get a rank of 202, like I did, or, ~3000, like one of my classmates did(although we had scored the same marks in the first round, I had a score of 17.8 in Situation Test, while he had scored 4). In this round, you are given various options to choose from, like, designing and making a 3D model of a bus stand/a poll booth/a room interior/ a parking lot, using only the materials provided to you by the college, and glue and scissors, in 3 hours. For preparing for the Situation Test, try making various models on such topics, using different materials, like cardboard, thermocol, different tyoes of paper, straws etc.
