Hey

Any number which can be expressed in p/q form where p,q are integers and q isn't equal to 0

Here the number 14.567 can be expressed in the rational form in this way

14.567 = 14567/1000

Any number which has a finite number of numbers after the decimal can be expressed in p/q form in the following way: Write the whole number without the decimals as the numerator and then write one by putting as many zero's as the number of digits after the decimal point.

For example 23.57

2357(whole number)

Number of digits after the decimal = 2

The rational number becomes 2357/100 ( 2 zeros as there are two digits after the decimal)

Hope it helps
