What is 15n and 10n in opposite directions

if you apply the both the forces in same direction the net resultant forces will lead the body to accelerate ;lets say the body have mass *m

so it will have and acceleration by the formula f=ma

net force=10+15=25

f=ma

25=ma

a=25/m

and if the net forces are on opposite direction then

f=15–10 (since the higher magnitude will produce the acceleration)

so f=5

5=ma

a=5/m

and if the both forces acts on the top part of the mass it will be balanced by the normal reaction force

15+10+mg=N (mg also acting downwards)

if one force is up and one is down so it will be

15–10+mg=N
