the answer is 2 itself.

it is as follows

So, lets solve this without BIDMAS (I’ll explain later).

2 plus 2 is 4

so 4 divided by two is 2

two times two is 4

then 4 take away 2 is 2

Using BIDMAS, we need to rearrange the question. Lemme explain it.

Brackets

Indicates

Division

Multiplication

Addition

Subtraction

Time to re-arrange the question, then.

Any brackets or indices? Nope.

But to simplify this from being a bit confusing, lets add brackets but still follow the BIDMAS rule…

So, there’s division first, lets rearrange this (and we use ‘ / ‘ for division and ‘ * ‘ for multiplication)

2+(2/2)*2–2

Next…

We solve what is in the brackets, so 2/2 is 1. Then we continue with BIDMAS which will be multiplication.

2+(1*2)-2

1*2 is 2

Let’s continue now.

(2+2)-2

Lets solve that, now. 2+2 is 4.

Last part, and we don’t need brackets here.

4–2, which is 2. Same answer as not using BIDMAS, hope you found this helpful and also please tell me if I made any errors in my calculations.
