What is 2/3 - 5/4... Explain how?

To solve this.

First take LCM of Denominator .

So LCM of 3 & 4 = 12

So now see that by which term 3 divided by 12 . so the answer is 4 now multiply 4 by 2 so 4 × = 8

and now look by what term 4 divided by 12 . so the answer is 3 now multiply 5 by 3 = 15.

No do like this .

 \frac{2}{3}  -  \frac{5}{4}  \\  \\  =  \geqslant  \frac{8 - 15}{12}  \\  \\  =  \geqslant  \frac{ - 7}{12}
