what is 2(x+3)=x-4 and 4(5x-2)=2(9x+3)

Answer:

2(× +3) = ×-4

2×+6 = ×-4

2×-× = -4-6

2×-×= -10

× = -10

4(5×-2)=2(9×+3)

20x - 8 = 18x +3

20x - 18x = 3+8

2x = 11

x= 11 ÷ 2

x = 5.5

20x-18x=6+8

2x=14

x=14÷2
