2003 ‘ceasefire offer’ made by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Zafarullah Jamali, on 23 November 2003 on the eve of the Eid-al-Fitr holiday. India’s formal acceptance of the ceasefire came a few days later in a statement by the foreign ministry: “The director generals of military operations of India and Pakistan have agreed to observe a ceasefire with effect from midnight tonight along the international border [the working boundary for Pakistan], the Line of Control and the Actual Ground Position Line (AGPL) in Siachen.” pls give me 5 stars....thanks

It drew the original Ceasefire Line (CFL) between the Indian Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistani controlled Azad Kashmir. ... After the 2003 ceasefire agreement they almost came to a halt during the peace process in the years 2004-2007
