Hello dear!

Number to be rounded-off,
224.91

Since,
We have to round to the nearest whole number, consider the number next to the decimal(.) which is '9'.
As '9' is greater than 5, we will add 1 to the number left of decimal (.) which is '4'.

Hence you final answer will be,
= 224 + 1
= 225

Hope it helps.

Heya,

ATQ,

224.91 should be rounded off to the nearest whole number,

So we should consider the number which is after the decimal point (.) that is we should consider 9. Since 9 is greater than 5 we must add to the number which before the decimal point (.) that is 4.

Thus,
224 + 1 = 225 [which is the nearest hole number of 224.91]

Hope my answer helps you :)

Shobana
