in equatorial regions 4 o clock rainfall occurs .

it is also known as convectional rainfall.during the day the vertical rays of the sun intensely heat up the land and water as a result water vapour is produced which cools up when comes in upper atmosphere.when water vapour condenses it forms small water droplets which precipitate as rainfall in the evening.
