an equation in which the no. of atoms of each element on the two sides of the equation is equal is called balanced chemical equation
2  according to law of conservation of mass, the total  mass of product must be equal to total mass  of reactant.this is possible only if  the no. of atoms of each element is same on the two side of the equation
