Balanced Chemical Equation : A chemical equation is said to be balanced when the number of atoms of different elements on left side ( reactant side ) are same as those on right side( Product side ).

Why should Chemical Equation be balanced :

According to the law of conservation of mass, the total mass of reactants and the product must be equal in the chemical reaction. All the Chemical Equationsusg be balance as atoms are neither created nor destroyed.

Examples of Balanced Equations :

>> Zn + 2Hcl -----> ZnCl2 + H2

>> CaO + H2O ----> Ca(OH)2
