hey!!

here is ur answer!!
===================================================

First of all,

A lens is a transparent reflecting medium bounded by either the two spherical surfaces or  one surface spherical and other surface plane...

As we all know,

There are two types of lens :

1)Converging or convex lens ..
2)Diverging or concave lens..

Now according to the question,

A convex lens is thick in its middle and thin at the pheriphery...
A convex is of following three kinds :

1)BI convex..
2)Plano convex..
3)Concavo convex..

A biconvex lens has both its surfaces convex...

A plano concave lens has one surface plane and the other convex...

A concavo convex lens have one surface convex and other surface concave..
