Bullet train works on the principle of magnetic levitation :-
- Levitation means raise to hover in the air.
- Same thing happens in case of a bullet train.
- A bullet have strong magnetic conductors underneath it.
- The magnetic suspension keeps the train stable by balancing it's weight.
- When the train crosses the coils,a current is generated and this current levitates the train roughly about 1 inch above the track and centre itself.
