DC voltage gain (also called steady-state voltage gain) is the ratio: output voltage and input voltage for a direct voltage input.
- DC gain is simply the gain at steady state, which can be thought of as the frequency ZERO hz. ... The ratio of the DC current or voltage “output” to the DC “input” current or voltage is the DC gain and expressed as a single number. A DC gain of 2 would mean the output (current or voltage) would be 2 times the input.
AC voltage gain is the same formula, but for unbiased sinusoidal input and output voltages.
