- Hemidesmosomes :- Allows the cells to strongly adhere to the underlying basement membrane. These maintain tissue homeostasis by signaling.
- Adherens junction :- It is involved in various signaling pathways and transcriptional regulations.
- Desmosomes :- These provides mechanical strength to epithelial tissue, cardiac muscles and meninges.
