Two-thirds of a cell is water, which means that two-thirds of your whole body is water. The rest is a mixture of molecules, mainly proteins, lipids and carbohydrates. Your cells turn the rawmaterials in the food you eat into the molecules your body needs, using thousands of different chemical reactions.

Structural organization of cell - Atoms are organized into molecules, molecules into organelles, and organelles into cells, and so on. According to the Cell Theory, all living things are composed of one or morecells, and the functions of a multicellular organism are a consequence of the types of cells it has.
