Cell is the basic unit of life. It is the structural and the functional unit of an organism.

Cell consists of various components called cell organelles

Some of the cell organelles are :-

Nucleus

mitochondria

food vacuole

Golgi complex

Cytoplasm

Endoplasmic reticulum

They are mainly two types of cells :-

Plant cell

Animal cell

The cells with nucleus are called eukaryotic cells

The cells without nucleus are called prokaryotic cells

In human body there are trillions of cells

New cells arise from the pre-existing cells
