Centrosomes are associated with the nuclear membrane during prophase of the cell cycle. In mitosis the nuclear membrane breaks down and the centrosome nucleated microtubules (parts of the cytoskeleton) can interact with thechromosomes to build the mitotic spindle.

centrosomes are found only in the animal cells it is bounded by any membrene but cosits of 2 granule like centrioles. centrosome helps in cell division in animal cells by forming spindles at the poles of the cells.
