Answer:

Chain rule in differentiation means .....

i m taking an e.g.

1) y= sin (ax+b)

dy/dx =?

in this , firstly we will the differentiation of sin which is cos and then do the diff. of other quantity.

ans.

dy/dx=cos(ax+b). d/dx(ax+b)

2)y=e^ax+b

dy/dx=?

in this firstly will do the differentiation of e , but its diff. is always same.

ans.

dy/dx=e^ax+b. d/dx(ax+b)

this is chain rule.
