Addiction.

It is the absolute worst thing a human can go through.

It will turn your world upside down. It will take things from you. It will make you do bad things. It will turn people against you. It will change you.

Although many people point out that addicts made the “choice" to be that way, it's really not that simple. I surely didn't wake up one day and think “today I will become an addict.” It starts out slow then spirals so fast you don't even see it. You aren't using to get high. You’re using to feel “normal.” Or what you think is normal.
