Chemical energy is another manifestation of energy and specifically it is the internal energy that owns a certain body and although it can always be found in matter, it will only be shown to us when there is an important alteration of it.

In simpler terms, the chemical energy is that which is produced by chemical reactions.

Among the most common examples we can give of chemical energy are: the energy emanating from the coal when it burns, the batteries, the batteries, among others.

Chemical energy is one of the many forms of energy. Although,It is a form of potential energy. It is also worth noting that this type of energy is always present in the matter, and will be manifested when a concrete modification occurs.

Heya mate
The answer of ur question is

♢ Chemical energy is associated with the stability of the molecules .
♢ During a chemical energy, if the energy of the reactant is more than that the energy of the product then the energy is released and the reaction is known as exothermic.
♢ During a chemical energy, if energy of the reactants is less that that of products, it is called endothermic energy

For ex - During the burning of a match stick fuel gets burnt by the friction, and the chemical energy get converted into the heat energy.

Basically it is the energy carried out in the chemical compounds reactions .

No , it is not a form of potential energy

hope it helps
