Answer:

a clinical thermometer is a thermometer used for checking body temperature. The range of a clinical thermometer is from 35 to 42  . We cannot use a clinical thermometer to measure the temperature very high because the range in a clinical thermometer varies only between 35 degree celsius to 42 degree celsius the temperature very high above this  will rise above this limit. Thus, a clinical thermometer cannot be used to measure its temperature.
