what is a clone?why does offsprings reproduces shows remarkable similarity
Answers
Cloning is artificial asexual reproduction. Cloning is the forming of a baby from a body cell. This was first done on a sheep in which egg or ovum from a black faced female sheep 'A' was taken out of its womb . It's nucleus was replaced with a nucleus from a ' body cell ' taken from the mammary gland of another white faced female sheep ' B'. This cell with changed nucleus is implanted onto womb of sheep, 'A', where it developed into a normal baby sheep . The baby sheep was exactly similar to sheep'B' . It remarked the similarity with sheep 'B' not with sheep 'A'. because the nucleus was of sheep 'B' which has contained the genes of sheep 'B' therefore it was similar to sheep'B' .
Hope this is satisfactory and u must have understood with the example and will help u.......
