A co-operation is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic , social ,cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned and demonstratically -controlled enterprise

A co-operation society is the other means for forming a legal entity to conduct business besides forming a company. It pools together humans resources in spirit of self and mutual help with the objects of providing services and to members.

The co-operative principle under which the co- operative society operates and carries out business are :-
