a solution which looks like homogenous but is heterogeneous is called colliod. There are many types of colloids. Colloid is hetrogenous.

Colloid is a heterogeneous mixture in which particle size is between 10^-9m-10^-7m. Due to small size of colloidal particles, they can't be seen with naked eyes. the colloidal particles can scatter a beam of light and this phenomenon is known as Tyndall effect .eg. milk,ink,starch etc.
