A colloidal solution, occasionally identified as a colloidal suspension, is a mixture in which the substances are regularly suspended in a fluid. A colloid is a minutely small material that is regularly spread out all through another substance.

¤ Collidal Solutions : Solutions in which the size of the particles lie in between rows of true solution and suspension are called colloidal solution or colloids.
Collidal solutions are heterogeneous mixtures this means that the components of colloidal solution are not present in single phase but actually present in to separate phases. These are called dispersed phase and dispersion medium.
