Answer : It is a solution in which paricles not dissolved full we can see the particles with the help of naked eyes and it is not true solution

If we pass a light beam through colloidal solution then we will see the phenomenon of scattering of light it is also known as tyndall effect.

A colloid or a colloidal solution is a heterogeneous mixture in which one substance is displaced as very fine particles having size in the range of 1 to 100 nm , in a continuous medium for another substances.

They are heterogeneous mixture .

They can pass through filter paper .

They show Tyndall effect.

Example - Fog , cloud , milk etc.
