Meteors, asteroids, and comets are not really separate things, just different forms of the same thing - space debris (rocks). Very large chunks of rock in space are called asteroids. Thousands of asteroids orbit between Mars and Jupiter in the Asteroid belt. Meteoroids are smaller chunks of rock in space.

Heya...✋

✨Comet⤵

▶A comet is a collection of gas and dust and appears as a very bright ball of light in the sky with a glowing tail. The comets also revolve round the sun like planets. The tail of a comet always points away from the sun. The period of revolution of a comet round the sun is very large. Halley's comet has a period of about 76 years.

✨Meteor⤵

▶A meteor is a heavenly body from the sky that we see as a bright streak of light which flashes for a moment across the sky. A meteor is also known as a shooting star. A meteor that does not burn completely on entering the earth's atmosphere and reaches the earth's surface is known as a meteorite. A meteorite is a sort of stone from the sky.

Hope it helps✅
