compound microscope is a microscope which is used to view very minute organisms like animal and plant cells, bacteria etc which cannot be seen through our naked eyes or even the normal microscope
it maximises the object you want to see a several hundred times

simple microscope magnifies cells upto some size..but there r some bacterias which couldn't b magnified from a simple microscope
n so the scientists made another microscope tat was a developed version of a simple microscope n tat is a compound microscope later compound microscope was also developed n tat was known as an electron microscope
