The Cyclonic storm Fani is expected to hit the coast of Odisha on 3 May, 2019 and can make a severe landfall. IMD has issued cyclone alert for Odisha, West Bengal and some parts of Andhra Pradesh. Cyclonic Storm Fani was a Category 4 tropical Cyclone which emerged due to result of Depression in the Sumatra West situated in Indian Ocean which intensified and has hit the coast evidently by $2^{nd}$ of May.

Explanation:

It got its name from Bangladesh as suggested. Cyclone Fani hit Indian coast between the dates of 26th April to $4^{th}$ May 2019, the cyclone of Fani hit the coastal state of Orissa and killed 64 and had extremely high rate of velocity of wind blowing causing debris to fly and falling of trees, hit the Indian state of Orissa and Bangladeshi state.
