What is a decomposition reaction? Give 2 examples each of decomposition taking place due

to heat, light and electricity.

it is a reaction in which a single substance disassociates into its simpler compounds.
Eg.(light) AgCl2–Ag +Cl2

(heat)NaHCO3—NaCO3+CO2+H2O

(electricity) H2O– H2+O2
