Democracy : The type of the government where people rule the country is called as Democracy.
The word democracy is derived from two Greek words "Demo" means people and " Kratos" means rule or authority. In simple words the rule of the people.
According to Abraham Lincoln "Democracy is a government of the people, by the people and for the people".

- Srilanka
- Bangladesh
- Pakistan etc.
Nowadays most of the countries are following democracy. Because Democracy is an effective and efficient government. There will be no despotism or dictatorship in Democracy
