Capital is wealth that is also economically active.  It is invested in the hope of a higher profit.  People can have wealth but do nothing much with it.  Or put it in a bank, with a fixed return.  (The bank will probably invest it as capital, but for the owner of the wealth that does not matter unless the bank fails.)

heyy karma ur answer0........

There is a great difference between them.

For a young boy, who is playing marbles, for hours together without feeling the pangs of hunger or thirst, the collection of marbles in his pocket .... is his wealth. For a farmer, his livestock is his wealth.

Any thing that has the power to add to your WEAL (your happiness)... is WEALth for you.

Money .... cash or bank balance .... which can be invested ... in the creation or manufacture of things and goods ....is termed as capital.

Capital and Wealth ... both have a tendency to concentrate............

hope this will help u...........@kundan
