Well, 16 = 4² , so you can write log 16 as log(4²) ....

which we can write as 2log4....!!!!

Therefore , the question can be written as 2log4 - log2

or since 4 = 2², you can again simplify as 4log2 - log2

Which will give you answer of log8........

You can also use : Log a - Log b = Log (a/b) =>. Log (16/2) = Log (8)....¯\_(ツ)_/¯¯\_(ツ)_/¯¯\_(ツ)_/
