What is a disease? Explain the various types of disease giving one example of each.

Disease means- disturbed ease. It causes discomfort in our body and it is due to some malfunction in the body. There are various types of diseases. Some are:-
Infectious disease- Disease that spreads from one person to another through direct or indirect contact.
 Eg: common cold. flu

Congenital disease- Diseases that spread from parents to offspring ie., they are genetic Eg:diabetes, blood pressure
Acute Diseases - Diseases which develops suddenly and stays for a short period of time. Patient is free of all symptoms. Eg: common cold
Chronic Diseases: Diseases which develops slowly and gradually and stays for a long period of time. It requires long time treatment and hospitalisation and may lead to death. Eg: cancer, diabetes

disease are two types
1)acute disease = it is short period disease
2) chronic disease = it is life long disease
