EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) is a user-modifiable read-only memory (ROM) that allow users to erase and reprogram stored data repeatedly in an application. In contrast to EPROM chips, EEPROM memory does not need to be removed from the computer in order to modify the data.
