fair trial refers to a situation where every citizen irrespective of his caste , class , gender , or religion is given the full opportunity to defend himself.

the court can declare a person guilty only after the guilt has been established by a specific process prescribed for it . justice is possible only if there is a fair trial.

Article21 of the constitution guarantees all citizens the right of life . it means that the life or freedom of a person can be taken only by following a reasonable , fair and impartial legal procedure . fair trial also require that the country has a system of rule of law.
