We can think in multiples of 4*9 = 36.
But it’s easier looking at the two easy rules:
Multiples of 4: end in 00, 04, 08, 12, 16, 20….Multiples of 9: the sum of all digits is also a multiple of 9.

If the number is divisible by 4 and by 9, so is it divisible by 36. Thus I started with the multiplication 200*36=7200, then 1800=50*36 and took 36 away to arrive at the solution, the number 9972.
