A floppy disk is a storage medium that consists of a thin and flexible magnetic disk inside a plastic carrier. Widely used since the 1970s until the early 2000s, they have gradually been replaced by other storage devices with greater capacity.

☆Actually welcome to the concept of Storage devices and their functions....

☆Basically the Floppy disc is square shaped metal plated very much outdated storing device usually used in the old IBM computers to save the data ...

☆Floppy disc was very much fragile and costly at the earlier time ....
it has to be safely kept l..so that the data is not being corrupted. ..

☆Floppy disc was a lengendry device ...having only 1MB or maximum 2MB of storing capacity at the older time....

☆Now it has been outdated and the flash drives and hard drives are used ....
