A flower is a specialized shoot of the plant in which the leaves are modified into petals. It consists of four whorls- petals, sepals, androecium, gynoecium.

there are four types of flowers

  • Hermaphrodite or bisexual= which has both the androecium and the gynoecium.
  • Staminate=In which only the androecium ( stamen ) is present along with petals and sepals
  • Pistillate= In which only the gynoecium ( pistil ) is present along with the petals and sepals.
  • Neuter=In which only the petals and sepals are present and neither androecium nor gynoecium.

They can also be classified according to whether they are insect pollinated, water or wind pollinated.

Flowers' main use is that they later form the fruit and seed which in turn again grows into a new plant, and the cycle continues.

They also provide nectar in some cases with which honey is produced by the bees.

They can also be used as decorations and gifts.

Hope this helps you!! PLZZZZZZZZZZZ mark as brainliest!!! :)))
