1 simple formula- the simple formula of a compound gives the simplest whol number present in a molecule of the compound
2 chemical formula-a chemical formula is a representation of a chemical compound using a set of symbols for the atoms of elements present in a molecule of the compound and shows the actual number of atoms of each element of the compound
