Heya !!
==================================
Diagonal of a cube = a√3
EXPLANATION :-
Each side of a cube = a
By Pythagorean Theorem,
we get the diagonal across the base
a² + a² = h²
Again using Pythagorean theorem to get cube's diagonal ,
h² + a² = d²
=> a² + a² + a² = d²
=> 3a² = d²
=> d = √3a²
=> d = a√3
==================================
Hope my ans.'s satisfactory.☺
