The function of taste buds is to detect different tastes such as sweet ,sour ,bitter and salty . For example, when we eat a chocolate our taste buds feel sweet.

Heyaa folk,

➞ Taste buds have microvilli.

➞ These microvillis send how something tastes.

➞ So, we get sense and we came to know it's sour, sweet, etc.

➞ Hence, taste buds helps us to know the taste.

➞ Every person has 10000 taste buds.

Hope it helps u :)
