What is a fuzzy check point in dbms?

Pages that are modified by a fuzzyoperation in the shared memory buffer pool are not flushed to disk. Certain subset of database operations is designated as fuzzy and the buffers that are modified by these fuzzyoperations are flagged and are not written to disk when a check pointoccurs
