Answer:

This was an informal letter that I had to do for my homework in my English class, and I'll explain the format of an informal letter with this!

First, you have to write your name and address, (The name and address was real and I have to censor it hehe..)

Then, write the date.

After that, we're moving to the actual part of the letter

First address the person with dear (as per the ICSE board, I don't really know about CBSE though, but 'dear' is the normal substitute so I guess it's alright)

Then, head to the intro. In the intro, we have to introduce ourselves and state the reason why we're writing the letter

In the body, briefly explain the topics that you have to cover. In my case, I have to narrate my first visit to the dentist, well, the contents in this letter are very real! You can read it if you want! That was my real first visit to the dentist.

In the conclusion, we can say bid goodbye, ask for something, etc... as per the topic that was given to you.

After that, we have to write something like this 'Yours Lovingly' 'Your Loving friend' etc.. In my case, I wrote Yours Lovingly.

Don't. Ever. Forget. To. Put. Capital. Letter. At. The. Start.

I literally lost 1 mark because of that! :(

Informal letter is the easiest! You don't have to worry if you're using formal words or something, you can write thinking like it's your personal diary! I mean, my ma'am knows literally everything about me right now due to all the essays and letters that I wrote about my life. Plus, it makes your letter interesting too, which includes more marks~

Hope it helps!
